MEET PAGE

Founder and Facilitator

052 page family 23.jpg

Hi! I am excited that you are here, reading this. It makes me hope that you want to join me in the work of building spaces of belonging for all LGBTQ+ youth. And that is good news. When those folks who have been left out for too long finally have their needs met, well, then we are all better off.

I've been working from within and alongside the LGBTQ+ community in one way or another since 2004. My experience is broad and includes working with faith communities, partnering with public schools, volunteering for juvenile justice departments, supporting foster parents with LGBTQ+ youth, and training housing providers across Washington state.

I love bringing people together for a common cause, drawing on our shared values and the best of each of us to nurture a new way of seeing other people. I want everyone to leave time spent with me feeling seen, understood, and inspired.

I am energized by the craft of teaching. I get a thrill from helping folks feel empowered to have conversations that once scared them. I am always working to refine my delivery and increase my knowledge. I am a relentless advocate for LGBTQ+ youth. And a firm believer in the power we each have to make our community a place where all people can thrive.

I live with my wife and our two children in the Pacific Northwest. I was born on the ancestral land of the Yakama Nation and today live on the land of the Lummi people. My vegetable garden is my place of reflection and sustenance. I believe in drinking good local beer and being a regular at the public library. I hope we meet soon so I can learn about you, your work, and what drives you so we can join forces in the work of goodness.
